These solid 14K gold earrings feature an uncommon large lab-created purple sapphire with round Akoya pearls and a teardrop Biwa pearl. The 12x10mm sapphires are an unusual color from a very old collection and have a total weight of 11.4 carats! The Akoya Pearls are 4-5mm in diameter and the Biwa pearls are 4.5x3.5mm. The Sapphires are held in place by fancy vintage galley wire. Three types of earring tops are shown: Lever Back, Kidney Ear Wires and Flattened Ball Threaded Posts. Note: the threaded posts are more secure but about 1mm in diameter (about 18ga), so will only fit ears with larger holes. Other earring tops, including non-pierced, are available upon request.
